Tieraney Rice, owner/director

Tieraney Gilmore Rice (Mrs. T) is the owner, director, and a teacher at Gilmore Prep. She has been an educator for almost 25 years. She has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in English Arts/Early Childhood Education, a Master’s Degree in Literacy Education, and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is certified to teach in New York and South Carolina, and has taught in public schools in both states. Prior to opening Gilmore Prep, she taught 1st and 2nd grades, and was a science lab teacher for one year with students in 3rd -5th grades . After having her second child, she became a stay at home mom. It was during this time of teaching her young boys that she realized her passion and her heart was to open a preschool and help prepare young children for the big transition to elementary school. Hence, Gilmore Prep was born!

Bobbie Reynolds - assistant teacher

Bobbie Reynolds, (Mrs. Bobbie), has served as an assistant teacher at Gilmore Prep for the past 4 years. Prior to joining the Gilmore Prep family, she served as an assistant kindergarten teacher in Greenville County Schools for 30 plus years before retiring. Although she is enjoying retirement, she can’t resist the opportunity to continue pouring into the lives of young children.

Katelyn watson - assistant teacher

Katelyn Watson, (Ms. Kate), is a junior at North Greenville University majoring in early childhood education. She serves as an assistant teacher in the afternoons during the school year and during summer camp.

tristin hall - assistant teacher

Tristan Hall, (Mr. Tristan), is a junior at Lees-McRaeCollege. He serves as an assistant teacher during summer camp. Mr. Tristan has been a member of the Gilmore Prep family since he was a high school student at one of the local high schools located directly across the street from GP. He volunteered after school to help the students in our after school program with homework and assignments. Upon graduating from high school, he applied for a position and has been a consistent employee!

Marilyn parks -school nurse

Marilyn Parks, (Mama GG), is our school Mom and nurse. She has been a nurse in the hospital system, she has been a Home Health Care nurse/supervisor, and she was a school nurse in Spartanburg School District #5 for 20+ years before retiring. She enjoyed 44 years in her nursing career before she retired! She does a little bit of everything at GP! She makes sure the staff is certified in First Aid/CPR every 2 years, and she helps keep the students and staff healthy.
